Salon Forza is a new Salon that opened recently in Andover, MA and designed by DMS design, an architectural firm located in Beverly Massachusetts.  Walking into a shoot with a new client is always an un-nerving experience for me.  So many expectations both on my own delivery and fulfilling the clients hopes.  The client has to put a lot of faith in a new photographer to deliver great shots of their space.  In the end i’m glad I delivered and will definitely enjoy working with DMS design again.

This public pool view is part of a larger campus of residential spaces.

The source client for this project is as nature artist that supplies the artwork shown in this entry view. I also had the oportunity to work with the interior designer, Gayle Shelby Interiors.

The architectural designer for this project, John Dubus Design at http://www.johndubus.com, wanted to capture this space showcasing the lighting and artistic details.  Project was photographed late at night using long exposures and controlled lighting to achieve the final results.  The majority of post processing work involved the blending of several exposure layers.

Interior set photography of The Worth Collection, LTD, a retail store located in Wrenthem, Massachusetts.  This was a smaller project with only a few shots required.  The hope before shooting was to catch this project before stocking began.  All projects have some communication issues and this one was no exception.  The builder was informed that on the day I was to arrive the space would be empty but unfortunately stocking had already began.  We decided to reschedule and shot the space once it was complete.  Client: Argonaut Builders
