This was a quick photoshoot for a client looking to update some shots for his website. Since I only had a short amount of time to actually shoot I relied on post processing to removing several items that I couldn’t move out of the shot and cleaned up the gravel drive including weeds and bare spots.

Architectural Photography showing one of four intimate residential entrances at Mary’s Meadow at Providence Place, a nursing home located in Holyoke, Massachusetts. This particular view was challenging in that it had to be cropped tight to avoid several areas that would have required heavy editing. Editing did include plant repair, several garden stakes and ribbons to be removed and aspault cleaning.

The timing of photography for nursing homes is critical due to residences moving in so quickly after project completion. This shoot was timed just before move-in and right before a fence was installed which would have obscured the view of this particular view.

Architectural Photography of the entry at the Willows at Worcester in Massachusetts. Shooting the exterior to this retirement community was challenging in that most of the exterior was in need of post processing. When arriving I immediately noticed heavy water staining on all the drives, lots of landscaping flags and hoses were pulled over most the site attempting to rescue the browning grass. Due to the limited time available on site I had to shoot most without moving anything. This view took an additional 30 minutes to remove garden hoses, repair flowers and cleaning the water stained drive.

Exterior Architectural Photography of the entry to the Groves in Lincoln Massachusetts. Its not often you get to have the owner of the architectural firm accompany you as the “assistant” on a photoshoot. This project turned out to be a great shoot with weather that kept giving us surprise after surprise at every turn. Cloud cover is always best when a little drama is present. I probably could of pulled even more range out of these clouds but at some point it starts looking a bit unrealistic.
